Regarding my photography it's been a great year of growth, new dreams, and fun projects here in Hawaii. I'm am looking forward to the days ahead as 2012 approaches. I would like to thank the Lord for opening new doors, keeping me healthy, and focused when at times it's not easy in today's world! I am most of all thankful for all the support I get from my friends, family, and clients thoughout the year. You guys make the tough days a whole lot better.

I want to give a huge thanks out to an old friend Brain Valdez for hooking me into the Point Panic Music Festival here in Hawaii. Brain and I go way back to the early 1990's when we both were just breaking into the music industry. Connecting with people that's what it's about. So again, thank you Brain for hooking me up at the show and I look forward to seeing the images produced. Last thing I want to say is Dub Trio out of NYC opened up the show here in Hawaii and gained a new fan in me - so check them out www.dubtrio.com

I would like to take this time out to thank everyone over at Christian Surfers. www.christiansurfers.com for their support. A big thank you to Pastor Lyle C. and his staff for pulling off this fantastic event! I'm happy that my fine art photography was able to raise funds that can help Christian Surfers continue their awesome work around the world. I also need to give a huge thank you to Sean McDonald at Marco Fine Arts. Without him in my production corner, I would not be where I am today!

I just returned to Hawaii after two great weeks in California with family & friends. Took in two baseball games, and my girlfriend saw her dream come true. "Get me to the Johnny". Yes, she got to see her man Johnny Damon play in person. It made me remember how great California can be, and the things you miss out on living in Hawaii.....But I will take Hawaii all day long! So needless to say, by the time we took in the US OPEN of SURFING we were burnt out, but still enjoyed our time.

Now for the "BIG NEWS" I'm excited to announce that this fall I will be lunching Guy Vaught - Fine Art. This new line of photography will feature limited edition prints and custom framing products that you will be able to order online and have shipped right to your front door.(home, office, or your place of work) I'm in pre-production as we speak and working very hard on a website that provides a great and easy online shopping experience. Thanks to everyone for their support over the years. It means everything!

It's been a fantastic April, and I hope heading into the spring/summer it will only continue. I need to give a big "Thank You" to the whole staff, but most of all my good friend Dora at Peter Lik Waikiki. Dora gave me one of those great gigs you live to photograph. The Peter Lik "Red Carpet" event was full of energy, and people living life! I found myself having to stop in the moment and just thanking the Lord for all he's done in my life. The images I captured, the people I engage with, and getting the opportunity to shoot an event for one of your photography hero's--that's called living the dream!
